Clean Water Project

Clean water India Village.JPG

My grandmother was born and raised in Gujarat, India, near rural villages without access to potable water. Providing clean drinking water to these communities not only addresses a public health issue, but would also allow the girls who walk miles daily to fetch water for their families to go to school.

With grants from the Rotary Club of Charlotte Hall and Rotary International, I organized and led a two week school service trip with the Calverton Interact Club to install Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration Plants in various rural villages and communities in Gujarat state.

From 2015-2018, we installed 50 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration Plants, and plan on installing another 100 in the near future.
