Our first festival was held on March 17, 2018 at the St. Mary’s Fairgrounds.

In March 2018, I organized and co-founded Fly4aCure, an annual kite festival dedicated to supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, whose mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Kite Symbolism

I chose to make the event a kite-flying festival, to reflect Fly4aCure’s high aspirations and elevated vision for a cure for all blood cancers.
