About Me
My life today was shaped by a diagnosis: my father’s cancer. When I was in the 7th grade, my father developed Primary Mediastinal B cell Lymphoma, and underwent 5 months of chemotherapy. While he went into remission, my interest in finding a cure for cancer grew.
Today, I am an active participant of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and I am dedicated to a career in medicine and healthcare policy. I’m also the founder of Fly4aCure Kite Festival, which helped raise $413,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in March 2018. This summer, I’m looking forward to working with Dr. Hema Dave at Children’s Hospital in Washington DC, as well as in the office of Congressman Steny Hoyer, House Majority Leader. When I’m not in the lab or on Capitol Hill, you’ll find me playing tennis or golf, or surfing YouTube for videos about new technology.
